Alexandra “Binky” Felstead, one of the stars of the hit television show Made in Chelsea, has tied the knot with her fiancé Max Darnton.
The pair, both 30 years old, have been engaged since September 2020, when Darnton popped the question in a field near the iconic Long Man of Wilmington, which is a scheduled ancient monument due to the 72-metre-tall historic hill figure present at the site.
The newlyweds met at a private members’ club in Oxfordshire called Soho Farmhouse, which houses a range of facilities, such as pools, saunas and sports courts, spread out over 100 acres of countryside. They started dating in January 2019, and exchanged wedding vows in a small-but-intimate ceremony in Chelsea Old Town Hall in London.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the joyful occasion was a civil service with just the couple’s nearest and dearest present, but Felstead has indicated that more wedding invitations will be sent out shortly for a larger ceremony at a later date in 2022, which is planned to take place on the Greek island of Corfu.
The happy couple’s surprise nuptial celebration took place just seven weeks after the birth of their son, Wolfe. Felstead is already a mother to four-year-old India from a previous relationship, making her husband a proud new stepfather to the little girl.
Fans of the popular TV star commented online that Felstead looked stunning in her wedding gown, which was a Halfpenny London ensemble, complete with a floral bolero.
