Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt, the runner-up couple from the 2017 season of Love Island, have tied the knot in a celebrity-studded outdoor wedding.
31-year-old Jewitt was a late entry to the Love Island four years ago, and despite Thurlow failing to spark a connection with any of the other contestants, she hit it off immediately with the Calvin Klein model when he arrived. Later in the season, the pair made their relationship official.
The couple welcomed a baby daughter into the world in October 2020, and Jewitt enlisted the assistance of their little girl in order to propose to Thurlow, dressing Nell in a baby grow emblazoned with the words “Mummy, will you marry my daddy?” The engagement was announced in February this year in the form of a charming Instagram post that was liked by over half a million fans.
The 32-year-old bride wore a floor-length fishtail dress in ivory, and wedding invitations were dispatched to several previous Love Island contestants, including 35-year-old Marcel Somerville, who treated fans of the couple to videos of the ceremony via Instagram Stories on his own public account. X-Factor reality star and singer Jake Quickenden also shared a selection of video footage of the special day.
This latest Love Island romance is not the first to have resulted in a walk down the aisle, as other couples from the 2016, 2017 and 2019 seasons of the popular show have also found lasting romance and have since exchanged vows.
