Wedding bells rang out on August 7 for one half of the double act Ant & Dec, as Anthony McPartlin tied the knot with his new bride, Anne-Marie Corbett.

The 45-year-old Newcastle-born TV personality first won the public’s affections back in 1989 with his role on the BBC drama series Byker Grove, where he became known for being inseparable from his best-friend Declan Donnelly, who played the role of best man at the recent ceremony.

This wasn’t the first time McPartlin has had to send out wedding invitations, as both he and his new wife have been married previously. The entertainer was previously married to make-up artist Lisa Armstrong for 11 years, before the couple split in 2018. McPartlin formed a new relationship with Corbett later that same year, and the pair finally exchanged vows in a star-studded ceremony at St. Michael’s Church in Hampshire.

The event was attended by some familiar names in the British entertainment industry, including This Morning’s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, comedian and writer David Walliams and footballer Frank Lampard, among many other recognisable faces.

The impressive event is thought to have cost up to £200,000, with around half the budget having been spent on lavish accommodation for the wedding guests. During the day, Ant & Dec wore matching suits with bow ties, whereas the bride opted for a full white dress with a long veil and purple bouquet.
