World champion diver Tom Daley has just celebrated his wedding anniversary while in lockdown. The sports star wed American screenwriter and director Dustin Lance Black in 2017, and they have since welcomed a baby son, Robbie, who was born via a surrogate.

Tom shared a wedding photo from three years ago on Instagram. In the post, he said it was hard to believe “so much has changed” since the couple sent out their wedding invites then tied the knot.

Like other Olympians, Tom now has to look forward to Tokyo 2020 actually taking place in 2021 instead. Watching Tom dive for the UK has been a highlight of the most recent summer games for many British fans.

Daley won his first diving competition when he was just 10 years old, and he has a stellar career ever since. In 2013, he released a YouTube video in which he revealed he was happily dating a man.

The pair held their wedding at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor National Park, Devon. Tom was born and raised in Plymouth, and lost his father to a brain tumour just after his 17th birthday. The couple’s nuptials included a performance by the London Gay Men’s Choir.

Tom has shared several workout videos with fans since the lockdown began, in an attempt to encourage the public to stay fit and healthy while social distancing, shielding or self-isolating at home. He even shared a snap with fans of two hats he had knitted for Lance and Robbie, after he took up needlework to pass the time during the COVID-19 crisis.
